Traders on Jalan Mangga Besar Raya Controlled

Around 30 joint officers from Satpol PP, PPSU, Satlinmas, FKDM, and RT and RW administrators from Kartini Urban Village, Wednesday (9/30), controlled traders selling on the sidewalk of Jalan Mangga Besar Raya.

Head of Kartini Urban Village, Sutami said the activity was carried out to follow up on residents' aspirations while maintaining an orderly, safe and comfortable environment.

"The sidewalk along Jalan Mangga Besar Raya, which was revitalized a year ago, is intended for pedestrians, not traders or illegal motorcycle parking areas," Sutami said.

According to Sutami, joint officers managed to stop six traders and several motor vehicles parked on the sidewalk and roadside.

"We urge traders not to sell on the sidewalk or we will impose strict sanctions," Sutami added.

Sutami stated that his party will carry out routine monitoring to ensure that the sidewalk on Jalan Mangga Besar Raya is functioning optimally.

"We also urge business owners along Jalan Mangga Besar Raya not to use the sidewalk to display their merchandise," he emphasized.
